About ShawnShawn split most of his life between the rust belt of northeast Ohio and the sunshine of central Florida. He was raised by a human resources director with a penchant for photography and an editor who launched her own magazine. Shawn has his BA in International Relations from Florida International University in Miami, where artists, activists, and entrepreneurs shaped his early interest in design.
Where's Shawn now?
Shawn recently worked in professional training where he designed business curriculum for Fortune 500 companies. While there, he earned two Communicator Awards in film and animation. He is now interning with Milton Glaser while completing his graduate work at the School of Visual Arts MFA in Design + Entrepreneurship program. This year, his work was featured in Grafik magazine and he is currently a contending semifinalist for an Adobe Design Achievement Award in motion graphics.
